Various research studies have been undertaken about shopping habits. Examples are by The Washington Post staff writer to find answers about "Teen Shopping habits". The study try to find the following answers:
How savvy are teen shoppers?
What are the small decision, the information and inclinatons at work as they shop?
When do they stop and buy?
When do they just move on?
In order to find the answers, they dispatched 61 volunteer shoppers, ages 12 to 17, on a local mall to find out. Altho' the article was written in 2007, but it worth reading. More details, click here.
One article in 2009 from The Telegraph mentioned that a study has shown the women's shopping habits are linked to their mestrual cycles. More details.
